The fondant cake we made was great and all, but this my have been our best idea yet! Sure beats paying nearly $10 for 1 caramel apple at the store.

Here's the basic recipe we followed for the caramel apples:

We then rolled the coated apples in crushed peanuts, M&Ms, or Toblerone and drizzled some with milk chocolate. Very simple and so delicious!
