Day 4 - May 29, 2012
Adelyn went to her 12 month well baby visit at the pediatrician's today.
At 1-year-old, Adelyn weighs 25 lbs, 4 oz and is 30.5 inches tall!
We are not at all surprised that she continues to be in the 90-95th percentile for height and weight.
We were told that our growing girl sleeps like a hibernating bear and were warned not to expect this with the next child.
Apparently, 12 hour nights are not the norm from 9-12 months.
We are truly blessed to have a happy, healthy and well-rested little girl!

Day 365 - May 24, 2012
365 days ago, I held you in my arms for the first time.
365 days ago, I breathed in your sweet newborn smell and kissed your beautiful face.
365 days ago, I looked into your eyes and felt my heart burst with a love I never knew was possible.
In 365 days, you have brought endless joy to our lives.
You are bright and beautiful. You are spirited and sassy. You are comical and curious. You are loved.
Every day for the last 365 days, I have thanked God for giving me you and I will praise Him every day of my life for choosing me to be your Mommy.

Day 363 - May 22, 2012
Just days away from her first birthday, Adelyn continues to amaze us.
Tonight, after dinner, I stood in front of Adelyn signing "all done" like I do at the end of every meal.
"Are you all done, Adelyn?" I asked.
I waited for her to sign back, but instead, she looked up at me and clearly said, "All done."
"Oh my gosh. Did she just say all done?" Greg called from the other room.
I stood there with my mouth open in awe as Adelyn grinned from ear to ear and started laughing. She was clearly proud of herself and, of course, we are too!
